General Information
When is the conference?
Conference activities run Thursday, October 1, through Sunday, October 4, 2026. The main conference sessions are Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3. An optional pickleball event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30.
Where is the conference?
The main venue is The Westin Seattle, 1900 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101. Some activities take place elsewhere; check the program before heading to an evening or Sunday event.
Where can I see the schedule?
See the full program for session times and updates. We recommend checking it again shortly before you travel.
What is this year’s theme?
Croatian Excellence: Celebrating the Decade, Engineering the Century. The conference marks ten years of ACAP gatherings and brings together professionals, entrepreneurs, academics, and community leaders from the U.S., Croatia, and beyond.
Registration and Tickets
When and where do I pick up my badge?
Conference check-in will be at the registration desk in the Grand Foyer beginning Friday, October 2nd at 8:00am. Please bring your registration confirmation and wear your badge during conference activities.
What does a conference ticket include?
The conference ticket includes the main sessions, Thursday’s Welcome Reception, and Saturday’s Gala Dinner. Industry Dinners require a separate ticket (Click here to purchase). For other meals and optional activities, please review your registration confirmation and the event listing.
Can I bring a spouse, friend, or child to an event?
Each person attending a ticketed event needs the appropriate registration or event ticket.
What happens each day?
What is happening Thursday?
Thursday’s program includes the Optimizing Your Performance symposium from 12:30–4:30 p.m., an Academic Symposium from 4:30–6:00 p.m., and the Welcome Reception from 6:30–10:00 p.m.
When do the main sessions start?
Friday’s program begins at 9:00 a.m. Saturday’s published program also begins at 9:00 a.m. Please check the full program and the Eventee App for the sessions and breakout rooms you want to attend.
Are there breakout sessions?
Yes. Both days include a choice of breakout sessions in addition to the main-stage program. Breakouts are listed in the full program; room assignments will be provided on site.
What is happening Friday evening?
The published program lists a Cocktail Hour and Exhibition Opening from 6:15–7:45 p.m., followed by the separately ticketed Industry Dinners. If you have a dinner ticket, please follow the dinner-specific arrival instructions below.
What is happening Saturday evening?
The gala evening includes a cocktail hour, dinner, awards ceremony, and after party. The published program lists the evening from 6:45 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Is anything planned for Sunday?
Sunday offers ways to enjoy Seattle and connect with the Croatian community, including activities listed on the conference site and CroatiaFest from noon to 6:00 p.m. at the Seattle Center Armory. Check the program for details and registration requirements for individual Sunday activities.
Industry Dinners
When and where are the Industry Dinners?
The Industry Dinners are planned for Friday, October 2, at 2120 Restaurant, 2120 6th Ave, Seattle, WA 98121. Please arrive at 8:00 p.m.; dinner begins at 8:30 p.m.
Do I need a separate ticket?
Yes. Tickets are $85 per person, including tax and service. Drinks are purchased separately on individual tabs. Seating is limited, so please purchase your ticket in advance. Click here to purchase.
How will I know where to sit?
We’ll seat guests at industry tables to encourage conversation. Check in when you arrive at the restaurant, and a volunteer will direct you to your table.
What is on the menu?
Dinner is served family style. The first course includes Lacinato kale salad and mushroom arancini. Entrées include king salmon, prime New York steak, and potato gnocchi, with broccolini and mac and cheese on the side. A vegan Thai-style green curry is available by advance request.
What if I bought a dinner ticket but can’t attend?
Please let us know as soon as possible at info@croampro.com so we can offer the seat to someone on the waitlist.
Food, Accessibility, and Attire
Are breakfast and lunch provided?
The program lists lunch breaks on Friday and Saturday. Please check your registration confirmation before assuming a meal is included.
Who should I tell about a dietary restriction?
Email keti.loncar@croampro.com by Thursday, October 1st EOD with your name, the event you’re attending, and your dietary need. Industry Dinner guests requesting the vegan entrée should let us know in advance.
What should I wear?
Business or business casual attire is appropriate for the daytime conference. On Saturday morning, we will be hosting a watch party for the Croatia vs. England match and encourage all to wear their checkered jerseys. For Saturday’s gala, cocktail or black tie is appropriate. Bring comfortable shoes for walking between venues and a layer for Seattle’s changeable weather.
How do I request an accessibility accommodation?
Please email keti.loncar@croampro.com with the accommodation you need and the events you plan to attend. We’ll coordinate with the relevant venue.
Hotel and Getting Around
Is there a conference hotel rate?
ACAP has a hotel booking link for The Westin Seattle. Rates and availability depend on your selected nights. Your hotel reservation and conference registration are separate, so please confirm that you have both if you intend to stay at the hotel. Click here to book your hotel room.
What are the hotel check-in and check-out times?
The Westin lists 4:00 p.m. check-in and 11:00 a.m. check-out. Contact the hotel directly about early check-in, late check-out, or luggage storage.
Is parking available?
The Westin offers parking; current options and rates are listed on the hotel’s website. If you’re driving only for an event, allow time to park and reach the conference rooms. A discounted rate is available to guests for daytime parking only. Overnight parking is based on the hotel’s current published rates.
How do I get from the hotel to the Industry Dinner?
2120 Restaurant is a separate venue located 2 blocks from The Westin Seattle. The group is expected to depart the hotel together and walk to the restaurant. You can also arrange your own transportation directly to the restaurant.

Where will last-minute changes be posted?
We’ll share updates through the Eventee App and at the registration desk. The online program is the best place to check the current schedule.
